Start of power cycle by
condensate supply: filling process
the condensate enters the VOIGT-Lifter
the VOIGT-Lifter therefore starts
working, controlled only by the condensate flow
the built-in relaxation valve is opened
Filling Process
the VOIGT-Lifter fills up
the built-in float slides upwards
Activation of the
switch process in the valve block steering: switching operation
if the VOIGT-Lifter is filled, the
float contacts the upper switching ring of the float-rod
Switching
operation
the float opens the steam inlet valve
with its lifting power
at the same time the relaxation valve
is closed
Displacement by
driving steam: Lifting process
the steam inlet valve is open
the inflowing steam impinges
elastically on the liquid level and displaces the condensate
through the pressure line
Lifting Process
the liquid level decreases
the float is moving downwards
Switching Process
is the lifter is empty, the float
contacts the lower switching ring
the float moves the float-rod by his
own weight and activates by this the steering process
Pressure relief by
relaxation: switching process
the steam inlet valve is closed in the
steering process
at the same time the relaxation valve
is opened and the driving steam is led back into the
collection tank
the next power cycle can start
Start of the following
power cycle
the float again slides upwards, the
residual steam is led by the venting line into the
collection tank where it condenses
this cycle reiterates intermittently as
long as condensate enters the lifter, stops automatically
when no condensate occurs and restarts automatically when
again condensate flows into the lifter
